Traverse City, Michigan: It is with great pleasure that VP Demand Creation Services (VPDCS) announces our new partnership with Michigan’s only full-service, non-profit, state trade association that serves all segments of the camping and RVing industry: Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds.

VPDCS President Dave Moore is thrilled about the selection and is confident in his team: “The board of directors of the Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds has a big vision for serving their members.  They selected VP Demand Creation Services to publish their annual directory, implement targeted demographic-specific mailings, manage their social media, and utilize these media to generate traffic for a new, improved website. The MARVAC board of directors evaluated many suppliers, but found the publishing and multi-media skill set of our company to be a best-in-class solution for delivering improved benefits to their members. We were a unanimous selection.”

“Camping is sharing the most precious time with family and friends,” said Gary Becker, a member of MARVAC’s executive board. “Being informed and planning ahead increases the chances for a wonderful experience.  MARVAC was looking for a partner who can assist us with both the makeover of our printed and digital resources as well as our execution and distribution to our consumer reach.

“We are looking to be more visual and useful with our resources,” said Becker. “We want our printed pieces to be helpful to those who are planning a trip in advance as well as to those who are on their trip – it’s important to us to offer something beyond amenity checklists and a do-it-yourself directory.  The right balance between well-labeled maps and digital resources will appear an almost custom fit to the user.

“We’d like MARVAC to be the most valued resource to consumers engaging in the camping and RV lifestyles; which should make us invaluable to our members.  The perspective VPDCS has will combine well with our vision and result in an exceptional experience for our members and consumer reach alike.”

Moore observed, “Camping and RVing isn’t something the MARVAC members do, it is who they are.  What we do with our free time defines us, and the MARVAC board of directors is passionate about delivering a superior value proposition for its members and their customers, here, in Michigan.  We are excited to help them deliver this passion.”
