VP Demand Creation Services Launches Event Management with Tyson Foodservice
July 1st, 2017
Traverse City, Michigan: VP Demand Creation Services is thrilled to announce the launch of their event management services. According to Dave Moore, Company President, “Our key clients, who attended our 9th Annual Client Focus Group, stated that managing their trade show assets is among their biggest headaches, and we already had clients for whom we managed their assets. We simply added some ordering, scheduling and automation tools to our client websites, and we have completed the infrastructure for this key service for our high-value clientele.”
Tyson Foods is among the first to implement the new service. Liz Knapke, Tyson Foodservice Marketing Excellence Manager, states “We are excited to take the next step in partnership with VPDCS in support of our mid-scale event assets to confidently and accurately support our event logistics.”
The service was a result of that particular focus group and has since been implemented by some of what VP considers their “client champions.” Here’s how it works: clients typically participate in 5 to 10 tradeshows or events per year where show assets are managed by VPDCS’s shipping and receiving team. All items being sent out are marked “returnable” and include a return-shipping label. The event items should include an expected return date, too. This allows other users to see when items are available within the system. Currently, Event Management Plus is in the works to launch in the near future and will include email notifications and allow for multiple return dates within orders.
