VP Demand Creation Services Partners with ASMP to Offer GS1 Photography to Fulfillment Clients

TRAVERSE CITY, Mich. (October 29, 2018) – VP Demand Creation Services (formerly Village Press, Inc.) is pleased to share their newest service offering to clients – GS1 Photography. In 2018, VPDCS has partnered with the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) to form a nationwide database of qualified photographers to take photos and name files properly to be GS1 compliant.
GS1 requirements for foodservice manufacturers are a necessity to doing business with their distributors. This universal data requirement includes specific photographs and file naming conventions. There are four images required of a product – an open case shot, inner package shot, raw product shot, and a glamour shot. By becoming GS1 compliant, foodservice manufacturers, distributors, and restaurant operators are creating a more efficient, effective, and visible supply chain all of the way to the consumer.
